There may be no better way to feel what a supercar is than with a Lamborghini convertible. And if it's the first time, the best is a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder. It is the complete pack of what such a car should be: exotic, stunning, exaggeratedly loud, and tremendously enjoyable. Few cars will attract more looks and more hands will be provoked by going to the pants to take out the mobile and take photos, while you live the experience of testing a supercar in the open air.

Atmospheric V10, for enthusiasts only

There are other rivals of the same caliber such as the Ferrari 488 Spider or the Audi R8 Spyder but with the Huracán Spyder it is another story, the thing is not only about performance or cutting-edge technology. At heart and at heart the key to the Italian mid-engined sports car is how much you will be amazed by it, a sculptural design that makes your skin crawl at the sight, a V10 sound that quickens your pulse as fast as the car.

It is normal to dream of the roar of its engine, of seeing yourself driving a Hurricane through the empty streets of a city. It's a sharp-looking car, challenging, and a rear that attracts a hunk of metal like a magnet.

Heavenly sound in the open sky

To top off the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder you just have to press the button of the central tunnel and in 17 seconds we have a machine 1,18 meters high looking like a fighter plane without a dome.

The three-layer hood also offers good insulation, but let's face it, there is nothing like folding the roof down at the traffic light, since up to 50 km / h the system works with total efficiency. Regardless of how we carry the roof, the small rear window behind the seats can be lowered. Thus, if we have the roof on we will be able to hear the Hurricane's engine as if we were with it removed.

Lamborghini has also implemented a design solution called "fins" that emerge from behind the seats at the top, extensions that come out when we remove the hood and continue the line of the car, improving air flow over the rear.

The extra weight of a Huracán Spyder with a Huracán Coupé is minimal, just 100 kg more to improve its stiffness, which is 1.542 kg. Are you going to notice it? Going from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 10,2 seconds we doubt very much that this extra is a problem when it comes to vibrating at the wheel when we accelerate fully. And the majority of the structure is made of aluminum, like its bodywork. And it is 40% stiffer than the Gallardo Spyder, in addition to gaining 50% downforce.

Radial touch without giving up modern comforts

But the masterpiece in the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder is the engine that rests behind us, in a central position. A 10-liter naturally aspirated V5.2 with 610 hp reaching 8.250 rpm, and 560 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. Dual-clutch shifting is fast, very fast, and all-wheel drive is the last ingredient in making your reactions explosive.

The steering wheel paddles will allow us to take better advantage of the Huracán Spyder, with carbon-ceramic brakes that will stop the Italian bull at any time with all its bite. The "Strada", "Sport" and "Corsa" driving modes will modulate your temperament, changing the response of the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive, stability control and exhaust.

The Lamborghini Huracán Spyder can have a magnetoreological suspension. Its shock absorbers with magnetizable particles modify their firmness in real time and depending on the driving conditions. The limited-slip differential also brings precision to the feast of power that the Sant'Agata Bolognese bull becomes.

On board there are bucket seats that hold like a charm, a TFT screen for digital instrumentation, good audio equipment and a multimedia system that can be operated from the control on the center console.
